‘My Anxiety’ – A Poem Written by Luke Newman

Poetry

I have this thing called anxiety,
And it maybe impossible for others to see,
It comes in flashes when I’m least aware,
And in some cases, leaves me in despair.

It can make me tremble,
it can make me sweat,
It can make me scared,
It can make me fret.

I stay at home, I sometimes walk,
I breathe more calmly, I want to talk,
So I speak to family, I speak to friends,
Key is to chat and eventually it ends.
